Mayor
John Mwesigwa is a dedicated public servant with over 15 years of experience in local government leadership. Born and raised in Makindye Ssabagabo, he has championed numerous community development initiatives that have transformed the lives of residents.
His journey in public service began as a youth councilor in 2008, where he advocated for youth empowerment programs. He later served as LC3 Chairperson for Ndejje Division from 2011-2016, during which he implemented groundbreaking education and infrastructure projects.
John holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from Makerere University and is married with three children. His commitment to transparent governance and community development has earned him respect across party lines.
